GYO is designed to be usable by everyone in the Gilmanton Youth Organization community. Accessibility is built into every feature from the start.
All buttons, controls, and content are labeled for screen reader navigation. You can navigate and operate every feature using gestures, keyboard, or braille display.
Every interactive element has a descriptive accessibility label, so you can navigate the app entirely by voice.
All text scales with your preferred text size settings. Schedules, announcements, and team information adapt to larger accessibility sizes.
When Reduce Motion is enabled, all animations are disabled or replaced with instant changes. The app remains fully functional without any motion.
GYO supports both light and dark appearances, automatically adapting to your system settings.
Text and interactive elements maintain readable contrast ratios. Primary content uses high-contrast foreground colors against all backgrounds.
All interactive elements meet or exceed the recommended 44-point minimum touch target size for comfortable interaction.
We're committed to improving accessibility. If you encounter any barriers while using GYO, please let us know at [email protected].
