Overview

GYO is a proof-of-concept app exploring how Gilmanton's youth sports community could coordinate schedules, rosters, and announcements. This policy describes what limited information the app handles, and what it does not collect.

Information Handled

• Program content: schedules, rosters, and announcements posted by GYO coaches and board members for distribution to registered families.
• Account basics: when accounts are required, the minimum identifiers needed to connect a family to the right teams.
• Support correspondence: messages sent to support@gyoapp.net.

Information Not Collected

• Advertising profiles: GYO does not use ad networks or third-party trackers.
• Precise location: GYO does not track device location.
• Contact-book uploads: the app does not ingest phone address books.
• Cross-site tracking: no analytics beaconing to external marketing platforms.

Children's Privacy

GYO serves a youth-sports community. Registration and account data belong to parents or guardians. The app is designed to minimize any information touching children directly and to avoid features that would require personal data from minors.

Data Storage

Program content and any required account data are stored on infrastructure operated by or on behalf of the Gilmanton Youth Organization. Communications with the app use TLS.

Sharing

GYO does not sell, rent, or trade information. Program content is shown to the app's users within the scope of the GYO organization only.

Your Rights

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your family's GYO account, contact support@gyoapp.net.
